Welcome desk

The organizing committee will welcome all attendees for registration on Sunday, September 1st, from 5pm to 8pm, just before lunch (served at 8pm on that day). The hotel's desk will be open until 10pm on Sunday. Please call the hotel in advance for further details if you plan a late check in.

Venue

The venue of the summer school is ”​Domaine des Hautannes​” located in the town of St Germain au Mont D'Or​ . The Domaine is situated in a park of 2.5 hectares with a classified forest and revolves around a bourgeois house and his outbuildings

The domain provides 49 rooms with twin beds equipped with telephone, television (DTT), free wifi, courtesy tray (tea, coffee, sweets):

  • 10 rooms will be booked for the lecturers (thus for a single use);
  • up to 39 rooms will be booked for students, who will be accommodated by pair in a twin room, hence the maximal number of students that can be accommodated is 78.
The fee includes all courses, hand-out material, coffee/tea breaks, social events and room/board from Sunday September 1st to Friday September 6th

How to go there

The journey to go from Lyon International Airport is summarized below:
  1. Go to the Rhône Express (tram) station from the airport terminal on foot;
  2. Take a tram and stop at Lyon Part-Dieu Train Station stop (last one), at least 2 departures each hour, tickets can be bought online (26.7€), the trip lasts about 30 minutes;
  3. Go to the Lyon Part-Dieu Train Station which is immediately next to the Rhône Express stop;
  4. Take a local train from Lyon Part-Dieu Train Station to Saint Germain aux Monts d'Or Train Station, tickets can be bought online (3.4€) or at an automatic dispensing machine in the station, the trip lasts about 15 minutes;
  5. A shuttle from the train station to Domaine des Hautannes will be available from 5pm to 8pm, otherwise, you can use Uber or call a taxi, e.g. Taxi Saone Vallee.
